Basement rubble work(Rubble foundation work portion which will be seen outside) is completed.Outside pointing with mortar and top plastering is pending to be done.Pictures show work in progress.

After completing foundation rubble work,we have filled foundation rubble work gaps with red sand by forceful pumping of water using neighbour's motor.After ensuring that foundation rubble work is properly packed to the extent of retension of water,we have started building basement rubble work.Pictures show work in progress

Set out and Stone laying

Pictures of Bhoomi Pooja

Bhoomi Pooja a function normally conducted by North Indians was carried out at site in presence of land owners and their relatives on 29,Aprl,2009 as the first activity related to construction at site.Some how I have never seen people in Kerala conducting  this pooja in connection with house construction.
I remember Navagraha pooja conducted along with stone laying ceremony when starting construction of house for a Tamil brahmin at Kalamassery years back.Pictures taken at the time  of  Bhoomi pooja attached
