Bhoomi Pooja a function normally conducted by North Indians was carried out at site in presence of land owners and their relatives on 29,Aprl,2009 as the first activity related to construction at site.Some how I have never seen people in Kerala conducting this pooja in connection with house construction.
I remember Navagraha pooja conducted along with stone laying ceremony when starting construction of house for a Tamil brahmin at Kalamassery years back.Pictures taken at the time of Bhoomi pooja attached

Site clearing done today using Jcb removing trees where building comes,uprooting coconut trees and paving drive way inside plot.Pictures will show details
